A pretty problematic part for most of us is how to start and finish our lessons in accordance with the methodology books – i.e. with a good warm-up and cooler activity. Also, during the lesson we might realise that our students are just to distracted to concentrate and we’d like some easy tasks to keep them going but still do something out of our lesson plan. With these thoughts in mind, I asked ChatGPT to compile some pretty short tasks that I can use at these points in my lessons. I organised them into a chart so that I can cut them and keep them with me all the time.
The tasks range from ones for complete beginners involving more movement than speaking to ones you can use at any level above A2.
